PH587: Kalinga Axe

A fine quality classic Kalinga head axe. The blade is well forged and heavy, and the collar is made of iron. The wood handle has intricate brass sheet decorations attached with very small nails, and the original bottom tube of cast bronze. The brass sheet has been cleaned a bit, but the over all patina is good from age and use.
