AS619: 3 Naga Ear Ornaments

Set of three shell ear ornaments worn by Naga warriors who were successful headhunters. Well worn shell with pecked in figurative images. Mounted on custom metal bases.     

From 2.5 inches (6cm) to 3 inches (7.5) tall. Early 20th century, Assam, Nagaland and Northeast India.
