OC584: Mendi War Shield

This medium sized Mendi war shield is decorated with natural pigment colors and the design is carved into the surface to make the central image. There is some native looking restoration fill to a crack on the front and partial back, but it looks like the shield was never broken apart. The patina is good from age and use.
