AS592: Naga Bronze Neck Torque

Naga bronze Neck torque worn by warriors that were successful in head hunting. There is an old indigenous wire repair where the piece broke, but was continued to be used. Mounted on a custom metal stand.    

8" in diameter. 19th or early 20thcentury, Assam, Nagaland and Northeast India.
