OC223: Fijian Kava Bowl

Fijian Kava bowl with nice dark patina. The carving is well done with broad deep chisel marks, and a good dark patina from age and use. There are some small eroded areas on the lip and bowl surface, and one leg has a stable crack.    

18” in diameter and 7” tall. 19th century Polynesia.
