OC542: Massim Lime Spatula

A classic Massim lime spatula with multiple bird images. The intricate carving is very finely done, and has white kaolin in the recesses. The overall piece has a good patina from age and use. There is an old collection number on the piece, but I do not know the collection that this comes from. Mounted on a custom metal base.     

Previously in the collection of Marc Feldman, Stanford, CA, Ex-Australian collection.

13" tall by 1 1/2" wide. Early 20th century, New Guinea.
