INDO485: Sulawesi Shield

Rare Sulawesi shield from the Lake Poso area. One piece wood construction with angled V-shape. The sides are decorated with inlay bone triangles, small shells and goats hair. The entire edge is reenforced with rattan as well as rattan bands over the surface.     

Previously in a Dutch collection.
